All The Fancy New Features On The 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' Suit
Of the many Spider-Man movies in the past, most of them featured Peter Parker creating his own suit, and all the fancy web-slingers and gadgets that came with it (although Tobey Maguire just shot webbing straight from his wrists).

But with Spider-Man: Homecoming joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe, a welcome change is that Tony Stark now designs all of Peter's fancy gadgets. And since this is Tony Stark we're talking about, there's going to be a ton more of said gadgets. Marvel released a short teaser of the new Spidey suit's bells and whistles:

The most important upgrade out of #CES2017. #SpiderManHomecoming

Since his inclusion in Captain America: Civil War, Tom Holland's Spider-Man will now be equipped with laser-targeted web-shooting, GPS tracking, some sort of holographic wrist display, and "web wings" which are a direct callback to the webbing under the armpits of Steve Ditko's original character design. The suit will also have much more "expressive eyes," which won't help him fight crime at all, but it'll make it easier for audiences to relate to him while he's wearing the mask. So good on Stark for considering the fourth wall.

But again, since this is Tony Stark we're talking about, there's no telling how much of it will work properly once the film comes out this summer.  Spider-Man: Homecoming comes out on July 7, 2017.
