Mark Hamill Breaks Out His 'Joker' Voice to Recite Trump Quotes
While we won't dwell on the implications here, there's a trend of popular voice actors reciting the crazier quotes by president-elect Donald Trump, who seems to mesh well with crazy cartoon voices. Last year, Billy West of Futurama did a series of dramatic readings in his Zapp Brannigan voice. And now Mark Hamill is stepping it up a notch, reading out Trump's tweets as the Joker.

Hamill needs no introduction, but regardless, he's voiced the Joker for several decades worth of Batman stories, including Batman: The Animated Series and the Arkham Asylum game and (most of) its sequels. If you've watched a non-live action Batman fight the Joker, there's a good chance you've heard Hamill. And he's now taken up the Clown Prince of Crime mantle again, reading out the president-elect's vague but not-so-lighthearted New Years' tweet about "his many enemies." Which now apparently includes Batman:

He labeled it "The Trumpster quote #1," suggesting there's a good deal more to come. Hamill got the idea when writer Matt Oswalt first noted that Trump's New Years salutations sounded more than a little villainous. Oswalt also mentioned a villainous attack on Gotham involving killer bees, but it remains to be seen whether Hamill will follow up on that too.

You'll have to decide for yourself how well The Joker and Trump fit together, but there's enough material on his Twitter page that Hamill could be joking for a long time.
