Spider-Man Will Likely Swing Into 'Avengers: Infinity War'
The cast for next year's Avengers: Infinity War keeps growing, and now it seems that Spider-Man himself will join the ranks of heroes that take on Thanos in the film.

Actor Tom Holland, the new Peter Parker, apparently spilled the beans in an interview with Vogue Italia. In the interview, Holland mentioned that he will appear in "three films over the next four years, including Avengers: Infinity War." We're presuming the other two films are Spider-Man: Homecoming, which comes out this year, and its sequel, which hits in 2019.

Here's the tweet showing the interview from Vogue's Italian-language version. The interview is not on their website yet, so it may be best to wait for an official confirmation in English.

While it's not exactly shocking to see Spidey join Infinity War, it's certainly exciting. Civil War was a great taste of seeing the character interact with other Marvel characters, and seeing him join with them in a more formal role - if that's what happens in the film - would really be exciting. In addition to the Avengers, other Marvel characters who have been confirmed to appear in the big team up film so far include the Guardians of the Galaxy, Doctor Strange, Ant-Man, Black Panther, and Captain Marvel - who will make her debut in the film. It will certainly be tough for writer-directors the Russo Brothers to juggle all of these characters, but if anyone can do it, it's them.
