First 'Justice League' Trailer is Packed Full of Action and Superheroics
Warner Bros.
We've gotten plenty of teasers for the Justice League movie coming this fall, including several short teasers for Batman and the others this week, but the first official trailer has finally been dropped by Warner Bros today. And since the key slogan in the movie's marketing has been "Unite the League," we're getting Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, The Flash, and Cyborg on full display (but no Superman, due to fallout from Batman v Superman).

After a strange opening, it otherwise plays out how you might expect, starting with Batman and Wonder Woman introducing the other heroes while The White Stripes plays in the background, before finally turning into an all out brawl set to a cover of, what else, "Come Together" by The Beatles. Here's the full trailer:

Again sort of strangely, it begins with Bruce Wayne riding a horse, which might have been called the "Bat-Horse" in the age of Adam West. Ben Affleck himself is still mopey here, only cracking a single joke when Barry Allen asks what his powers are: "I'm rich." As the Flash, Ezra Miller looks fun enough, but he seems significantly less cheerful than Grant Gustin on The Flash TV show. Wonder Woman and Cyborg both seem very serious as well, and Cyborg's CGI looks sort of iffy if you pause at certain moments.

But then there's Aquaman. A far cry from Batman riding a horse, the trailer ends with Aquaman riding on top of the Batmobile, which is much cooler. Game of Thrones' Jason Momoa as the aquatic avenger was the definite standout here, showing more personality in just a few moments than any other member of the League. While just as gleefully violent as the others, his casual remark of "Dressed like a bat? I dig it" would've been a great way to end the trailer by itself. And then we get him leaping off the Batmobile. His movie won't come out until December 2018.

Justice League hits theaters on November 17, 2017.
