'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2' is Live-Streaming its Red Carpet Premiere
Marvel/Disney
Marvel Studios' first film of the year is nearly upon us, as the superhero/space-comedy Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is only a couple weeks away. But if you're in Hollywood, the red carpet premiere is tonight at the Dolby Theatre, something Marvel is going to be live-streaming all over the internet.

Now, don't go expecting them to show the actual movie - a surprise live-streaming might be asking a little much (unless you're Rick and Morty). But interviews with Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Bradley Cooper, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, and the rest of the main cast (including Kurt Russell) are sure to follow. And of course, director James Gunn will arrive just after his announcement that he'd be directing all three Guardians of the Galaxy movies.

The event starts tonight, April 19 at 9pm Eastern time (6pm if you're on the West Coast), and will go up on Twitter and Marvel's website, as well as through YouTube, the last of which you can find right here:

And since it wouldn't be Guardians of the Galaxy unless all the space fighting included '70s classic rock, the official mixtape setlist for the sequel's "Awesome Mix #2" will be backing the whole affair. Said setlist was just released today, including everything from Fleetwood Mac's menacing "The Chain" (which already appeared in trailers) to the unshakably upbeat "Mr. Blue Sky" by Electric Light Orchestra.

While the famous people can schmooze at the premiere tonight, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 comes out in theaters May 5, 2017.
