Lego Set Reveals How 'Justice League' Villain Steppenwolf Will Look
Warner Bros.
We've known for a while now that the main villain in Justice League will be Steppenwolf, one of the New Gods of Apokolips (and a minion of Darkseid, who will still probably appear in some capacity). However, outside of the crappy CGI version of him that showed up in a Batman v Superman deleted scene, we still didn't actually know what the villain would look like, only that he's played by Ciarán Hinds (Mance Rayder on Game of Thrones).

That changes today, sort of. Thanks to some leaked photos of a Justice League Lego set, we now have a pretty good idea of how Steppenwolf is going to look in the movie. Thankfully, he actually has some discernible features this time around rather than being an amorphous gray blob, and he bears a much closer resemblance to his comic book counterpart than in BvS. Take a peek at the photos below:

That looks like a pretty solid design to us. For reference, here's how he looks in the comics:

And in case you forgot (lucky you), here's the terrible CGI version from BvS:

The Lego pics also reveal another huge "spoiler," the reveal that Superman (gasp!) is in the movie. OK, literally everyone knew that already, but this at least makes it official. But for those of you who were hoping he'd be donning the black suit (or a 90s mullet), it looks like you're going to be disappointed, as Lego Supes is sporting the ol' red, blue, and yellow and a boring, normal haircut. Oh well, can't win 'em all.

Justice League opens on November 17, 2017.
