Could Wonder Woman Appear In Batman vs Superman?

Are Warner Bros. and Zack Snyder considering adding a third element to the Man of Steel sequel, Batman Vs Superman? It has been debated, at great length, whether or not this movie would provide a platform for Warner Bros. and DC Comics to unleash Wonder Woman on their cinematic universe. Now Variety have brought the subject up, speaking with Warner Bros.' President of Creative Development, Greg Silverman.

Of Wonder Woman, Silverman said "Wonder Woman is an amazing character. I think it's a great opportunity both for box office success, but also to have an amazingly powerful female superhero." Well that's kind of stating the obvious there from Silverman, but it certainly shows that Warner Bros. are serious about bringing the amazon warrior to the big screen.

However, Silverman's most interesting comment came when he responded to the question of whether or not Wonder Woman would have her own movie or appear in the 2015 Man of Steel sequel.

"We are taking it all very seriously and are trying to do a plan that's respectful to those characters and maximizes the stories as best they can," said Silverman. "So everything that has been speculated are things that we've thought about."

So could Silverman's aloof response mean that Warner Bros. already have a roadmap for expanding the DC cinematic universe? Does it hint at a Wonder Woman appearance in Batman vs Superman? It would certainly be a convenient stepping stone on the way to a Justice League movie, but don't expect her to play a major role just yet. Instead, my inkling is that Batman vs Superman will act as a vehicle for a Wonder Woman reveal, most likely in a cameo role and most likely in a post credits scene.

But hey....it's all speculation for now. So what do you think?
