Star Wars: Episode 7 Casting Is Now Accepting Video Submissions

Did you see footage of the crazy lines outside the first location for the Star Wars: Episode VII open casting call in the UK this weekend? Did you think, damn my luck, I would be perfect to play one of these beautiful/handsome and smart lead roles, but I live nowhere near the UK? Well, I've got good news for you my friend. Casting has now been opened up to include video submissions, which means no matter where you reside on this planet of ours, you can have your shot and sci-fi infamy.

In addition to video submissions, the project's open casting call has been expanded to include a series of Meet & Greet opportunities with Casting Director Maryellen Aviano. Aviano will be touring the US until 24th November and you can view Meet & Greet locations as well as video submission details right here.

The casting call is looking for two roles, one female and one male, so read the info below and get rehearsing!

Female Call:

"SEEKING YOUNG WOMAN TO PLAY 17-18 YEAR OLD. MUST BE BEAUTIFUL, SMART AND ATHLETIC. OPEN TO ALL ETHNICITIES (INCLUDING BI AND MULTI RACIAL). MUST BE OVER 16.

RACHEL - Was quite young when she lost her parents. With no other family, she was forced to maker her way in a tough dangerous town. Now 17, she has become street smart and strong. She is able to take care of herself using her humour and guts to get by.

Always a survivor, never a victim, she remains hopeful that she can move away from this harsh existence to a better life. She is always thinking of what she can do to move ahead."

Male Call:

"SEEKING YOUNG MAN TO PLAY 19-23 YEARS OLD. MUST BE HANDSOME, SMART AND ATHLETIC. MUST BE OVER 18.

THOMAS - Has grown up without a father's influence. Without the model of being a man, he doesn't have the strongest sense of himself, despite this he is smart, capable and shows courage when it is needed. He can appreciate the absurdities in life and understands you can't take life too seriously."
