Interstellar Launches Interactive Site With Hidden Clues

Warner Bros. has launched a new interactive website for Christopher Nolan's upcoming space exploration epic, Interstellar. The new site appears to be time-sensitive in that the scene displayed reflects the time of day in your location. Nolan fans everywhere have been busy crawling all over the site in an attempt to unlock its secrets, but so far, only a few have been successful and many have been frustrated.

The site opens with a message that states "Look Around You"....."The Answer Lies Above Us" it continues.

You are then free to drag the screen around and examine the desolate scene. Notice the spacecraft launching from the right. But as some have stated over at an Interstellar fan page it's when the sun goes down that the site displays its secrets, with one fan noticing that certain stars are highlighted as you mouse over them.

But if all this is a bit too mystifying for your liking, you may prefer the news that a new trailer for Nolan's film is expected any day now. Cinema Blend reported that the new trailer will play before screenings of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy this week, although confirmation on that has not yet been forthcoming. Others believe the trailer, which wowed fans at Comic Con last weekend, will be released online sometime in the next day or two. So, either way, you've not got long to wait before you can get a deeper glimpse at the more 'spacey' themes of Nolan's next blockbuster.

Interstellar will hit theaters on November 7th 2014
