Images Claim To Reveal Star Wars: Episode VII's New Look Storm Trooper Helmets

Have J.J Abrams' new look Storm Troopers been revealed? Indie Revolver were the folks behind the images and they claimed that they were genuine concepts that had been adopted by the Star Wars: Episode VII team.

- Update: Click here for new leaked images from Indie Wire who claim they have concept art detailing Han Solo's new outfits.

Indie Revolver claim that the basic Storm Trooper helmet (seen below) will ditch the symmetrical aesthetic seen in the last six movies for an edgier, one-vented helmet.

The trooper below is reportedly being used in scenes at the Pinewood Studios treehouse set, and as such has been given the nickname 'Jungle Trooper'.

Not long after these images were leaked, a user on the prop replica forum, The RPFclaimed that he had been sent a photo of one of the actual trooper helmets being used on the set.

We're hoping these images are for real, because they seem like the perfect progression from the original trilogy troopers. There's almost a retro lo-fi feel to them, which appears to be in keeping with Abrams' desire to get back to the roots of the Star Wars universe.
