Thor Guest Stars in Preview of Marvel's Inhuman #4

The new Marvel series, Inhuman, has experienced a series of setbacks, including the departure of Matt Fraction, the original writer, a significant delay for the release of the first issue, and sporadic releases of subsequent issues. Then, on top of the behind-the-scenes problems, the first three issues received tepid reviews, with reviewers citing poor artwork, continuity issues, and disproportionate hype. But with the consistently positive reviews for the writing by Charles Soule, and introduction of new artist Ryan Stegman for the upcoming fourth issue, the series has more potential than ever before.

Inhuman directly follows the events of the Marvel event series "Infinity," in which the powers of thousands of latent Inhumans were activated by the explosion of the Terrigan bomb. In the fourth issue, Inhumans are being hunted by malevolent forces who want to use their powers for evil, and Inhuman leader Medusa struggles to retain her new position of power. The issue primarily deals with the arrival of Thor and the mysterious origins of inhuman Reader, both of whom have ambiguous allegiances.
