Marvel Teases the Return of Civil War in 2015
The Superhero Registration Act is returning to the Marvel universe. Marvel released a tantalizing cover for Civil War#1 that tells us essentially nothing except that it will come out in summer 2015.

Civil War was a series that ran from 2006 to 2007. It detailed the ramifications of the proposed Superhero Registration Act, which cause a bitter division between all of the most famous Marvel superheroes. Iron Man led the effort to register all superheroes in order to increase accountability and limit the heroes' power, while Captain America led the resistance against the act, on the grounds that it was discriminatory against a certain class of people.

There's no word on those rumors about a potential film adaptation, but we're hopeful that the fact that Marvel thinks the series is popular enough to bring back to the comics may increase the likelihood that Avengers 3 will have a Civil War-esque plot.
