How To Create Your Own Marvel Phase 1 Movie Omnibus

Marvel's Phase 1 movies have long since been completed, but the effects of the events explored within them are still being felt in subsequent movie and TV projects, and will likely continue to do so for quite some time. This interwoven serial approach to movie storytelling is one of the aspects that has made the Marvel Cinematic Universe so overwhelmingly popular, quite simply because it gives everyone the urge to see what happens in the next installment. This serial approach also means that it could be possible to cut all of these movies into one continuously flowing dialogue to give viewers a 'big picture' view of what's unfolding. And that's exactly what one group of superfans have done in the video below, but they've gone one step further and shown you how you can do it yourself.

The Comic Archive is the channel responsible for this epic feat and although the end result isn't made available, it's clear from the video that it would be pretty spectacular. Sure, they had to blur the lines a little and borrow a few scenes from events that technically fall outside of Phase 1, but when you consider the bigger picture, that doesn't seem like such a big deal.

Here are the blow by blow instructions on how you can create your own supercut:

It's going to take a little bit of patience, but the end result will certainly be worth it. It would also be interesting to see how, with the massive upcoming expansion, this concept would play out with future Marvel phases. Would a phase 2 supercut tell such a cohesive and compelling story? How will the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron fit in with its companion movies?
