Samsung's Avengers: Age of Ultron Tech at CES Including Tony Stark's Transparent Cell Phone

We may be a long way off from seeing many of Tony Stark's inventions become a reality, but thanks to Samsung and CES 2015, getting an up close look at some of the tech from Avengers: Age of Ultron is about to become a little easier. At the huge electronics event, currently underway in Las Vegas right now, Samsung showcased some new gadgets that would be taking up a supporting role in Joss Whedon's upcoming continuation of the Avengers franchise. The highlight has to be the transparent phone Stark uses in the movie, which is described below:

"What type of phone does a man who has everything need? A sleek and metallic phone that features cutting edge technology designed specifically for Tony Stark. With a striking flexible display, the phone features two different curved panels, taking inspiration from Samsung's Galaxy Note Edge so that important information is displayed separately from the main screen. The device features a hologram glass user interface with finger print security so that even if the device gets into the wrong hands, Tony Stark's personal data stays secure and out of the hands of the enemy."

Unfortunately, this particular gadget isn't going to market any time soon, but many tech experts are confident that this type of technology is not far from going to market. Personally, I'm not sure I could be trusted with anything so fragile, but it sure is beautiful.

Up next was a host of tech set to be used by the entire Avengers crew, including a new Smart Watch and Bluetooth Ear Piece (people still use those?).

Samsung also showcased a bunch of new tech for people who don't have superpowers, but let's face it, after seeing that see through smart phone, a Samsung Galaxy Note just doesn't generate the same level of excitement. In other news, some exclusive Avengers: Age of Ultron footage was screened at CES, and those who saw it have described a series of Ultron-centric scenes which include a slow-mo Quicksilver shot and a number of buildings being destroyed by Ultron bots.

Avengers: Age of Ultron hits theaters on May 1st 2015.
