Masi Oka to Reprise His Role as Hiro Nakamura in Heroes Reborn
If you were a fan of the original Heroes series, the news for Heroes Reborn hasn't been all that exciting so far. There have been no returning cast members aside from Jack Coleman, and no other relatively well-known actors except for Chuck's Zachary Levi. But now, arguably the first really exciting news since the reboot was announced has come out, and it's a doozy. Masi Oka will return to Heroes Reborn as Hiro Nakamura, almost everyone's favorite character.

At the beginning of the series, Hiro Nakamura discovers that he can manipulate the space-time continuum, and is one of the only characters to be happy about his powers. At the end of the first season, he teleported to Japan in 1671. This detour took the character out of normal circulation for a while, one of the many mistakes made in the second season, but he remained a fan favorite throughout, and apparently is destined to be one again.

Now if we can just get Milo Ventimiglia, Hayden Panettiere, Ali Larter, and/or Zachary Quinto (with maybe some Kristen Bell thrown in there?), they may just get most of their original fans back.

Heroes Reborn will consist of 13 hourlong episodes, and is set to air on NBC this summer.
