Lost's Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje to Play Killer Croc in Suicide Squad
We probably had enough villains in Suicide Squad already, but it's worth it to see Mr. Eko grace our screens again. Lost actor Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje has just joined the DC Comics supervillain mash-up as Batman antagonist Killer Croc.

Akinnuoye-Agbaje is arguably best known for playing fan favorite Mr. Eko on Lost, but he was also featured prominently in The Bourne Identity and Oz. He's also technically a Marvel defector, as he played Algrim/Kurse in Thor: The Dark World. And between his role in Suicide Squad and his upcoming role as Malko in the fifth season of Game of Thrones, his nerd cred is about to go through the roof.

In most versions of the character, Killer Croc is a genetic mutant who was born with regressive atavism, which means he inherited traits of ancestral species of the human race, such as reptiles. As a result, he has nearly impenetrable skin, regenerative powers, super strength, enhanced senses, etc. In recent years he has become more reptilian, even sporting a full crocodile head in the New 52 redesign, but hopefully they'll go with a more grounded version of the character for a live action movie.

Akinnuoye-Agbaje joins Jared Leto who recently tried out his Joker voice for a live audience, Will Smith as Deadshot, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Viola Davis and Amanda Waller, Jai Courtney as Boomerang, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, and Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg. The film comes out in theaters on August 5, 2016.
