Ryan Reynolds Appears to Admit Defeat in Battle to Make Deadpool and R-Rate Movie
If Ryan Reynold's latest tweets are any indication, the fight to make Deadpool an R-Rated movie has ended with what can only be described as a first round knockout. After his rousing announcement that he was going "Fighting the good fight", the Deadpool actor has come back to Twitter with a series of messages, which don't appear to spell good news for those looking for some true Wade Wilson violence.

The swift turnaround in outlook from Reynolds is more than likely due to conversations with studio bosses, who may have been a little miffed at the actor's outburst on Monday. It doesn't take a genius to work out that a PG-13 Deadpool movie would stand a far better chance of box-office success than an R-Rated one. A more brutally violent Deadpool movie may fit in with the character's origins, but it alienates the family box office dollar, which in Hollywood is considered all-powerful.

Don't lose heart, though, because this is far from a confirmation that Deadpool will be a PG-13 movie. After all, it's only just begun to shoot and we still have a little under a year to go before it's released.
