The Final Trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron is Here!
The final trailer for Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron is here, bringing with it some new footage of Joss Whedon's sequel. When it's released on May 1st, it will be hard to argue that Avengers: Age of Ultron isn't the most-anticipated movie of the summer, if not the year (although I suspect a certain JJ Abrams movie wins the latter title). Much of that anticipation has been generated by the mind-blowing footage we've seen in the various teasers and trailers for the Avengers sequel, and as you're about to see, this final trailer is no different.

Most of the new trailer centers around the urban battle scenes, which we have already seen a great deal of in previous snippets, but this final trailer spends a lot more time focusing on Black Widow's exploits in the battle. There are some brilliant shots of Scarlett Johansson's character swooping in on her bike to aid Captain America in what seems like a losing battle against a rampant Ultron. This scene is brilliant in itself, but it could also add credence to the rumor that Natasha Romanoff will, at some point in the movie, get to wield Thor's weapon, Mjolnir. Ever since that party scene in which the Avengers take in turns attempting to take hold of Mjolnir, rumors of Black Widow's interaction with the weapon have been rife. If that does happen, it will likely get the biggest cheer of the day when Avengers: Age of Ultron hits theaters, but if it doesn't. I'm pretty sure we'll all settle for seeing her clutching Cap's shield as per the trailer above.
