DC Comics and Marvel Just Shared a Touching Moment on Twitter
It was announced some time ago that the comic book giant, DC Comics, would be packing up their New York headquarters and shipping out to California to join the rest of the DC Entertainment team. The entire New York-based DC team was offered a chance to relocate to California, but as is always the case with these things, not everyone would be able to move their lives to the other side of the country. With DC finally shuttering their New York offices this week, the company took to Twitter to say a special thank you to all of their employees and fans in the Big Apple. What happened next is enough to melt the hearts of even the most hardened of comic book fans.

It's nice to see that, even with all the wild rivalries on the comic book and movie studio front, these two geeky behemoths are able to come together and share a moment of solidarity. For many years Marvel and DC Comics have had New York City as a common ground, but with DC leaving this week, the city that never sleeps will be left to Marvel. Though DC are departing this brilliant city, they will do so having left the legacy of 'Gotham' the Detective Comics homage to NYC, which first started all the way back in the 1930's.
