Travel to the Future in Two New Tomorrowland Featurettes
In previous trailers, the cinematic version of Tomorrowland has essentially been described as a mystical haven for scientists/dreamers/futurists to save the world- somehow. But in these new featurettes, it appears that the name "Tomorrowland" is more literal than we originally thought, as Britt Robertson's character describes touching the pin as traveling to "the future":

In this first featurette, Robertson says that she "went to the future," presumably when she touched the pin, indicating that Tomorrowland isn't just a home for futuristic technologies, but actually resides in the future. (It also briefly features Stargate: Atlantis favorite Paul McGillion as a cynical teacher. Who knew he was even in this movie??)

This featurette focuses on Raffrey Cassidy's Athena, who has been fairly mysterious up to this point. But according to this video, she has combat skills (a "very special set of skills," if you will), she's "full of surprises," and she describes herself thusly: "I'm the future." It's still unclear exactly what that means, but it ties into the "Tomorrowland as the future" theme very nicely.

Tomorrowland also stars George Clooney, Hugh Laurie, Tim McGraw, Judy Greer, and Kathryn Hahn. It comes out in theaters on May 22.
