Gotham Season Finale: Will Bruce and Alfred Discover the Batcave?
Two new promos for Gotham's season finale just came out, and they preview the season's last five minutes, heavily implying two big spoilers (so if you're spoiler-averse, stop here!):

This promo, entitled "Destiny," is fairly run-of-the-mill until the end, when title cards tell us that "the last five minutes will unleash destiny." Of course, the first thing a fan will think when the word "destiny" is used in reference to a Batman prequel show is that we're finally going to see the beginnings of the Batman mythology. And judging from the last shot of the promo, in which Bruce and Alfred are shocked to find some kind of secret passageway behind the fireplace of Wayne Manor, it's probably safe to say that they're going to discover Gotham's version of the Batcave.

What do you do when baby Batman becomes the best part of your Batman prequel? Forget about the "prequel" part.

The other shot associated with the "last five minutes" sees Penguin and Fish viciously fighting, which probably alludes to Fish's death. This is less news-worthy, considering that we've been predicting from the get-go that Penguin would kill her by the end of the season, and Jada Pinkett-Smith recently revealed that her contract would not be renewed for season two

This second promo further alludes to Fish's death, as Cory Michael-Smith (Riddler) tells us "not everyone will survive" and Jada Pinkett-Smith goes last, saying "you won't want to miss it." Subtle, guys.

Here's the official synopsis for the finale, entitled "All Happy Families Are Alike":

"As Gotham City's gang war reaches its boiling point, Fish Mooney goes head-to-head with Maroni and Penguin in an attempt to re-stake her claim on the city. Meanwhile, Barbara and Leslie Thompkins are brought together after recent events, and Bruce searches Wayne Manor for any hints that his father might have left behind."

Gotham's season finale airs on Monday at 8pm on Fox.
