New Extended Jurassic World TV Spot Previews Some of the Nicer Dinosaurs
The Indominus Rex is the "newest attraction" at Jurassic World, and has understandably been the focus of most of the previous trailers and teasers. And this new trailer still features the genetically engineered hybrid fairly heavily, but it also gives us our closest look at some of the nicer dinosaur species, such as pterodactyls, triceratops, and especially the gentle Apatosaurus.

Granted, the poor Apatosauruses are unceremoniously killed by the Indominus Rex, but we'll take what we can get. There's also a blink-and-you'll-miss-it clip of a child hugging a small dinosaur in what looks like a special Jurassic World petting zoo. What could go wrong there, am I right?

Here's the official synopsis for Jurassic World:

Steven Spielberg returns to executive produce the long-awaited next installment of his groundbreaking Jurassic Park series, Jurassic World. Colin Trevorrow directs the epic action-adventure based on characters created by Michael Crichton. The screenplay is by Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver and Derek Connolly & Trevorrow, and the story is by Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver. Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley join the team as producers.

Jurassic World stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Vincent D'Onofrio, Irrfan Khan, Jake Johnson, and Judy Greer. The film comes out in theaters on June 12.
