First Trailer for DC's Legends of Tomorrow Unites Heroes and Villains
The first trailer for The CW's Arrow/Flash (Flarrow?) spin-off, Legends of Tomorrow, is finally here, and it plays up the "non-hero" status of its protagonists in a big way:

According to the trailer, the group of crime-fighters are not "heroes" but "legends." Some are villains, like Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), some are tortured antiheroes, or "half a hero," like Firestorm (Victor Garber), and others are pretty much heroes, but are still undergoing some growing pains, like Atom (Brandon Routh). Caity Lotz also returns as White Canary, another version of her fan favorite Arrow character, joining Ciara Renee as Hawkgirl, Dominic Purcell as Heat Wave, and Doctor Who's Arthur Darvill as the time-traveler and ringleader Rip Hunter.

Here's the official synopsis for Legends of Tomorrow:

When heroes alone are not enough… the world needs legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat - one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known?

DC's Legends of Tomorrow (which is apparently copying Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s shameless self-promotion) is set for a midseason premiere during the 2015-2016 television season.
