Chris Pratt Attached to Two Guardians of the Galaxy Sequels, Will Likely Appear in Avengers: Infinity War
With the massive surprise success of Guardians of the Galaxy, we all knew there would likely be more than one sequel, and the Guardians can't assemble without their fearless leader, Star-Lord. But in a new interview with GQ, Chris Pratt not only confirms that he's attached to two more Guardians of the Galaxy films, but also heavily implies that he will appear in Avengers: Infinity War.

In the interview, he describes his commitment to Marvel as follows: "...I'm tied to doing three more, or five more, Guardians of the Galaxy or whatever it is, you know, two more Guardians plus another couple..."

GQ clarified these vague assertions slightly, stating, "I think this means he is committed to at least two sequels, as well as spin-off projects where his character will appear with other Marvel characters."

Technically, those three other movies on his contract could be any Marvel film that features crossovers, including Captain America: Civil War (although really, can they even fit anyone else at this point?). But considering that Guardians villain Thanos is also the main villain in Avengers: Infinity War, and that the Guardians of the Galaxy feature heavily in the comics arc, it seems highly likely that two of those other Marvel films are Avengers: Infinity War pt I and II.

Avengers: Infinity War pt 1 is set to come out in theaters on May 2, 2018, while Infinity War pt 2 is slated for a May 3, 2019 release.
