Batmobile Spotted Chasing the Joker on the Suicide Squad Set
We already knew that Batman would likely make an appearance in Suicide Squad, but the newest set footage confirms that Affleck's appearance will be more substantial than we thought. In the below videos from the Vancouver set, the updated Batmobile from Batman v Superman is seen chasing the vehicle belonging to Jared Leto's Joker:

There were persistent rumors that Ben Affleck would appear in Suicide Squad, which were seemingly confirmed when he was spotted on set in April. The latest reports state that his presence will consist of an in-story scene near the end of the film which will set up a Batman solo film with Joker as the main villain. If this is true, that solo film might be a little tough to pull off without being too reminiscent of The Dark Knight, but when you have a villain who's as iconic as the Joker, it makes sense to use him as much as humanly possible.

Suicide Squad, which also stars Will Smith as Deadshot, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, and Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, hits theaters on August 5, 2016.
