New Rumor Details Batman's Appearance in Suicide Squad
We already know from the copious amount of leaked Suicide Squad set photos that Batman chases Joker and Harley Quinn in the Batmobile at some point in the film, but apart from that one scene, we had no idea how Bruce Wayne played into the larger plot of the film. Now, professional rumor monger Umberto Gonzalez, formerly of Latino Review but now reporting from his new website Heroic Hollywood, has revealed a breakdown of a key scene between Ben Affleck's Batman and Viola Davis's Amanda Waller.

Possible spoilers for Suicide Squad follow!

As his first news exclusive for his new website, Gonzalez writes of Batman's appearance in Suicide Squad,

In short, he goes and pays Amanda Waller a visit. Batman BREAKS into her massive security prison. In fact...he's already inside Amanda Waller's office waiting for her in the shadows when she appears... Batman has a bone to pick with Waller. You see Batman is totally against the concept behind the Suicide Squad, in fact he warns Waller that he will hold her personally responsible for any innocents The Joker & the rest of the Suicide Squad kill.

This sounds perfectly plausible, as most of the Suicide Squad are specifically Batman villains, so it makes sense that Batman would have strong feelings about the government trusting them enough to use them as assets.

If it is true, however, it's obviously not his only scene in the film, as it doesn't cover any of the leaks from the set photos. So the question is: if this scene is in the film, then does the chase scene take place before the scene detailed above? Or does Batman just go after Joker anyway, all the while knowing that he's going against the US Government?

Suicide Squad which also stars Will Smith as Deadshot, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jared Leto as Joker, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, hits theaters on August 5, 2016.
