Marvel's Star Wars #6 Makes Shocking Canon Revelation About Han Solo
The new Star Wars comic series have been brilliant since the franchise returned to Marvel, none more so than Marvel Star Wars which features the exploits of the Rebel Alliance in the aftermath of 'A New Hope's' Battle of Yavin. In the series so far, Leia, Han, and Luke have successfully disrupted a number of Imperial operations, narrowly avoiding Darth Vader's deadly grasp. But while the series has been thoroughly entertaining, it hasn't contained much in the way of big introductions into the new Star Wars canon. That all changed today though, with the release of Marvel Star Wars #6, which brought with it a shocking canon revelation about Han Solo.

Spoilers for Marvel Star Wars #6 below

In issue 6 of the series, we finally learn the identity of the masked figure who has been hot on the tail of Han and Leia as they embark on yet another dangerous mission. That figure is Sana Solo, a woman who claims to be Han Solo's wife, and as you can see in the page below, the famed smuggler is none too pleased about her surprise appearance.

Sana Solo is an entirely new character to the Star Wars universe and her introduction adds a whole new level of complexity to Han and his past. More so, Sana's appearance in this canon material could lend credence to the rumors that Han's early years are going to be the subject of a future Star Wars anthology movie. But that really is jumping the gun a bit, because as of right now, we really know very little about this mysterious gun-toting figure.

What we do know is that Sana is going to play a larger role in this particular series because she has already been revealed on the cover of Star Wars #9, but the details of the pair's relationship remain a mystery. Certainly Han's reaction suggests that this is no normal husband/wife pairing, so could it be that Sana is a pretender or some form of stalker who fell smitten with the smuggler during his roguish adventures?

Sana Solo isn't the only reason to run out and buy Star Wars #6 though, because there's also an epic fight between Luke Skywalker and Boba Fett, as well as the moment that Darth Vader discovers the identity of the pilot who destroyed the Death Star.
