6-Minutes of Ant-Man Footage Will Premiere Ahead of Jurassic World IMAX Screenings
Even after the trailers, TV spots, clips, etc., we still don't feel like we have a really good sense of Ant-Man yet. And while a sense of mystery can build anticipation, there's enough doubt surrounding the project that it might be a bad idea for Marvel to be too mysterious with their underdog project. That all might be about to change, as Marvel is premiering a whopping six minutes of the film ahead of IMAX screenings for Jurassic World this weekend.

Six minutes is definitely sufficient to get a feel for the film, and Jurassic World is set to be one of the biggest blockbusters of the summer, so this seems like a good move on Marvel's part. (As long as the movie's actually good, that is.)

The official synopsis for Ant-Man reads:

The next evolution of the Marvel Cinematic Universe brings a founding member of The Avengers to the big screen for the first time with Marvel Studios' "Ant-Man." Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, master thief Scott Lang must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.

Jurassic World opens this Friday, while Ant-Man hits theaters on July 17.
