Infographic: Which Marvel Character Has Killed the Most People?
Marvel's comic book universe is so packed full of potential killers, it can sometimes be hard to figure out who the most dangerous character is. We think 'killer' and we automatically gravitate towards Marvel supervillains such as Magneto and Green Goblin, but could it be that Marvel's array of so-called heroes are actually their biggest killers? Well, we can now abandon our arguments, because this infographic, created by the folks at MorphSuits.co.uk, will finally reveal who the identities of Marvel's most-deadly characters.

Based on stats from Marvel's Earth-616, the infographic divides these comic book killers into 3 categories: Dangerous, Deadly, and Lethal. This actually throws up some surprising results, and it proves that just because you're labelled a hero, it doesn't mean you're not prone to the odd bit of killing.

Oh, hello there Captain America and Cyclops, what are you doing on this list of notorious killers? We thought you were meant to be the good guys? We might be being a bit harsh on these two, because when you look at the stats you'll notice that the majority of the 14 deaths caused by the pair are actually bad guys. That being said, Cyclops did kill Professor X in Avengers vs X-Men #11, and for that we will never forgive him.

Stepping up a level brings us to Marvel's two most lethal women. Black Widow and X-23 have a combined 20 kills between them, which when you consider that someone like Green Goblin only has 7, is pretty impressive. Namor's presence at the top of this second tier is proof that spending too long in a glorified bathing suit is enough to make a monster out of even the most mild-mannered of heroes. It's also somewhat surprising to see a villain as mighty as Magneto relegated to the second rung of a list, which with all due respect to his competitors, you would normally expect to see him at the top of.

So here we have it. Standing head and shoulders above the rest are 3 characters who, between them, have racked up over 100 kills during their time in Earth-616. There are no surprises here; Punisher is just about the angriest man around, Deadpool has a worrying love for violence and Wolverine is always the first into a fight. When it comes to killing bad guys, this list shows superpowers aren't necessarily essential.
