Awesome Fanmade 'Leaked' Trailer for Captain America: Civil War Might Be Better Than the Real One
Leaked set photos have revealed a few of the superheroes in Captain America: Civil War, but aside from a glimpse of anticlimactic production art, we haven't seen anything official. Luckily, Youtuber and self-proclaimed fangirl Destination Avatar has edited an amazing trailer for the movie that grounds the superhero Civil War in American history, all while servicing the plot details released so far:

The trailer is bootleg-style, which makes it a little harder to understand at certain points, but it also gives it more of a "leaked" feel. The editing is impressive, especially the way she seamlessly edits the statements of newscasters to be consistent with the story. "Congress has rushed through the passage of the Superhero Registration Act" was my favorite line of the entire trailer, just because it's so realistic. But a close second is this line from Iron Man: "If you were me, would you sit on the sidelines? Could you live with yourself if you did?", as it gets to the heart of the fear motivating the pro-registration side.

"I'm beyond stoked for this movie, I really am and as a fan," she wrote in the description. "When I see a promo image, official concept art/fanart/trailers/tv spots, etc. the fangirl comes outa me... I tried to incorporate everything we've heard so far about the film into the trailer."

All the major players are represented, from Iron Man and Steve Rogers to Scarlet Witch, Vision, Hawkeye, and what looks like a brief glimpse of Spider-Man. And it looks like she is, in fact, updated on her movie news, as she incorporates all of the rumored plot details, including that (spoiler!) Crossbones causes the Stamford Tragedy that leads to the Superhero Registration Act.

Captain America: Civil War comes out in theaters on May 6, 2016.
