Official Teaser for Amazon Adaptation of Philip K. Dick's The Man in High Castle
There are numerous sci-fi book adaptations in the works, but few are as exciting a prospect as Amazon's adaptation of Philip K. Dick's 'The Man in High Castle'. After a number of failed attempts to bring the sci-fi classic to life on screen, Amazon greenlit The Man in High Castle after its pilot received a mixed, but generally positive reaction during the Amazon testing season that saw no fewer than 13 pilots released to the public.

That pilot will be the subject of a special screening event at next week's San Diego Comic Con, and to get us excited, Amazon has released an official teaser for the show.

The Man in High Castle explores what would have happened had the Axis powers won World War 2. Set in an America in which the Nazis occupy the East Coast and the Japanese occupy the West, Americans are forced to live under their colonists' rule. But when Hitler's grip on his half of the country starts to weaken, tension between the Axis powers increases, and the fate of America's native population becomes increasingly uncertain.

Produced by Ridley Scott, The Man in High Castle will be screened at San Diego Comic Con in Friday July 10th at the Civic Theater. You can see more clips from the show, below.
