New Ant-Man Viral News Video Reveals Captain America: Civil War Easter Egg
With Ant-Man coming out in just nine days, Marvel's very own news organization WHiH! has released a viral video that explains why Scott Lang is in jail, and also reveals an Age of Ultron/Civil War Easter egg:

First, Leslie Bibb's Christine Everhart discusses the devastation in Sokovia from the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron, and how the severe consequences of the superheroes' actions will affect future government policy:

"The issue of more government control and transparency when it comes to our superpowered citizens is going to continue to be a hot-button topic."

For those of you who have read Civil War, there's no question as to what this means. This is clearly foreshadowing for the Superhero Registration Act, the government's attempt at registering all superpowered humans in response to a massacre that results from a misuse of superpowers. Iron Man believes that the act is warranted (possibly as a result of his guilt over creating Ultron?), while Captain America, who lived through the Holocaust, believes it's discriminatory, and the two sides split the superhero community down the middle.

The video also explores Scott Lang's criminal history, which paints him as a modern-day Robin Hood rather than your average petty criminal. According to WHiH's "official" press release (via Mashable),

Opening quote
Since his arrest, Lang has remained adamant about his innocence. According to an official statement, he was only out to expose and correct corrupt activity within the upper echelons of VistaCorp; Lang believed the San Francisco cyber security conglomerate was knowingly overcharging its customers. I love that Marvel is treating WHiH as though it's a real news organization, running its own Twitter account and everything. That's how we know that Christine Everhart will supposedly have an in-depth interview with Scott Lang next week:
