The Hunger Games: Mockingjay pt 2 Beats Batman v Superman and Star Wars for Most Talked-About Film at Comic Con
If you were to ask the average Comic Con attendee which film was most buzzed-about, he or she would probably say Batman v Superman, Star Wars, or maybe Deadpool. But according to at least one metric, an unexpected dark horse contender beat all of those films, as The Hunger Games: Mockingjay pt 2 was the most tweeted-about film at SDCC this year.

According to an analysis conducted by Twitter, Mockingjay took first place for social media buzz, followed by the more expected Batman v Superman and Star Wars, in that order. Suicide Squad took fourth place, while Justice League took fifth. I'm not surprised about Suicide Squad, but I am a little surprised that Justice League edged out Deadpool.

Twitter isn't necessarily an accurate measure of buzz, as each form of social media has its own unique community. But these results are still unexpected, and at the very least, show that female-led franchises can receive just as much attention as something called Batman v Superman.

The TV results didn't surprise anyone, with Once Upon a Time taking the top slot, followed by Arrow, Supernatural, Teen Wolf, and Vampire Diaries. If anything, I'm a little surprised that Teen Wolf ended up on the top five rather than The Flash, but once again, that can likely be explained by Twitter's demographics.
