Morena Baccarin and Ryan Reynolds Tease 'Awesome Sex Montage' in NSFW Deadpool Movie
We were lucky enough to be in Hall H for the 20th Century Fox presentation this weekend, and we can't wait for you to see the Deadpool trailer. It's violent, profane, crude, and hilarious, just as Deadpool should be, and now the stars are assuring fans that it will be NSFW in the sex/nudity realm as well. Speaking to Cinema Blend at San Diego Comic Con, Morena Baccarin teased an "awesome sex montage" between her character, Vanessa Carlysle/Copycat, and Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool:

Opening quote
It's an origin story for these characters, so you see them falling in love. You see them meeting each other for the first time and discovering that they're kindred spirits. There's this awesome sex montage, you see them love each other more and more.
Closing quote

Ryan Reynolds was also present at the interview, and was his normal snarky self (aka Ryan Reynolds is Deadpool in real life), and amended the description of the sex scenes to "very athletic." Baccarin agreed.

From the trailer, it seems that the love story between the characters will stay fairly true to the source material. In the comics, Vanessa is a young prostitute who meets Deadpool while he's still a normal human. They fall in love, but then soon after he discovers that he has cancer and ends the relationship, at least temporarily. Baccarin spoke to this aspect of the relationship as well:

Opening quote
He sort of detaches from her because he wants to go through this cancer thing, and doesn't want her to be witness to it. And it remains to be seen whether they'll find each other again.
Closing quote

It's unclear whether Vanessa is a shapeshifting mutant, as she is in the comics, or whether she will take on the superhero identity Copycat. But with the growing interest and investment in female superheroes, we can only hope that she will become a superhero in her own right at some point, especially considering Morena Baccarin's formidable talents.

The Deadpool trailer will reportedly come out online within the next couple of weeks, and the film hits theaters on February 12, 2016.
