Stan Lee Bets on Superman to Win in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice
This spring, Warner Bros. will pit Batman and Superman against each other in one of the biggest superhero showdowns of all time (until Civil War, anyway), and fans are already placing their bets. Some argue that Superman's god-like physicality makes him the obvious choice, while others maintain that Batman's superior intelligence will ultimately win out:

Marvel's Stan Lee is of the former camp, as he recently told the Boston Herald (via Moviepilot):

Opening quote
"Superman, I think," Lee tells the Boston Herald in a recent interview. "He's indestructible and can do anything. Batman relies on weapons. The fellow who created Batman, Bob Kane, is a friend of mine, so he'd be unhappy of me saying that. At the same time, Jerry Siegel, one of the creators of Superman, used to work for me, so I have divided loyalties."
Closing quote

And when pressed for a definitive answer, he doesn't waver from his loyalty to the Man of Steel:

Opening quote
"If this is real-a fight between Batman and Superman-there's no one who should bet on Batman."
Closing quote

It's hard to argue the logic of that answer (although Batman could get lucky with Kryptonite), as a physical fight between Batman and Superman is no contest. But it seems like Batman v Superman is also about conflicting ideologies, and Batman is far and away the more compelling of the two, which is probably why he won our poll for who wins in a fight, Batman or Superman.

Batman v Superman hits theaters on March 25, 2016.
