New Minority Report Poster and Featurette Introduces Us to the Precogs
The Minority Report TV show is coming in less than two months, and now Fox has released a new featurette and poster to tease the central premise of the TV sequel to the acclaimed 2002 film:

In the 2002 film starring Tom Cruise, a futuristic police department called "Precrime" uses three mutant children called "precogs" who can see the future in order to apprehend criminals before crimes actually occur. At the end of the film, Precrime is dissolved and the precogs are released, and the story ostensibly ends there.

But the TV show picks up ten years later, catching up with one of the precogs, Dash (Stark Sands), as he tries to live a relatively normal life while still haunted by visions of future crimes. He isn't able to prevent any of them, so he teams up with a detective named Lara Vega (Meagan Good, playing a character who is new to the franchise) who encourages him to use his gift to prevent murders.

The poster also features another precog, Dash's twin brother Arthur (Nick Zano), as well as another police detective played by Wilmer Valderrama. The third precog is Dash and Arthur's foster sister, Agatha (Laura Regan), who featured prominently in the first 20 minutes of footage that aired at last month's San Diego Comic Con. It's expected that Arthur will serve as something of an antagonist to Dash, while Agatha will likely be working with Dash's best interests in mind.

Minority Report premieres on September 21 at 9pm on Fox.
