Watch All Six Prequel Episodes of 'Dark Matters' to Get Ready for Heroes Reborn
Dark Matters, the digital prequel series for Heroes Reborn, has finally hit the internet, and it tells us exactly what happened between the end of the original Heroes series and the upcoming reboot.

After Claire Bennet revealed herself to the world in the series finale of Heroes, thousands of others were inspired to share their powers with "My name is [insert name here], and this is my first attempt" videos. The superpowered humans, or "Evos," as they're now called, are considered to be in a higher state of evolution and are hailed as the "pinnacle of human potential." But, as these things inevitably go, the public eventually lets their fear get the best of them, forcing the Evos to register and ultimately persecuting them until they are forced into hiding.

The six episodes of Dark Matters follow a young girl named Phoebe (Degrassi: The Next Generation's Aislinn Paul), who has the ability to control light and shadows. Her brother bears witness to her persecution, leading up to the moment in the Comic Con trailer in which he seeks out Noah Bennet aka HRG to enlist his help. Here are the six videos, along with their (mildly spoiler-y) summaries:

Chapter One: Where Are the Heroes?

Opening quote
The prequel series begins as the mysterious Hero_Truther puts out a rallying cry for EVOs to declare themselves by telling personal stories in the wake of lies and fearmongering. This prompts Phoebe Frady (Aislinn Paul) to reveal to her brother, Quentin (Henry Zebrowski), that she can manipulate shadows.

Chapter Three: Registered

After a pro-EVO demonstration at the college gets out of hand, Phoebe is arrested and forced to register in a national database. When Phoebe is approached by Harris (Clé Bennett) with a job offer at the fast-growing tech company named Renautas, it raises Quentin's suspicions.
Closing quote

Chapter Four: June 13th

Opening quote
Phoebe goes missing after an argument with Quentin over her ongoing nightmares.

Chapter Five: Renautas

Opening quote
In the wake of tragic events on June 13th, Quentin refuses to believe his sister was involved in the attacks and believes Renautas was behind Phoebe's abduction.

Chapter Six: Where the Truth Lies
