Disney CEO Bob Iger got on stage at Disney's D23 Expo and promised some "huge" Star Wars news, and while we didn't get the actual Rogue One teaser we wanted, we did get our first cast photo, in addition to theme park announcements and a confirmation of the Episode IX director.

Here are the highlights from the Star Wars D23 panel:

Not only is this the first official promotional material we've seen from the film, it reveals an even more stellar cast than we thought. Among the new cast members revealed are Hannibal Lecter himself, Mads Mikkelsen, and Donnie Yen, a Hong Kong martial artist and multiple-time world wushu tournament champion.

Colin Trevorrow confirmed for Episode IX

As we expected, Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow was confirmed for Star Wars: Episode IX. Abrams has long said that he wouldn't return for another Star Wars film after Force Awakens, and Rian Johnson is already working on the script and treatment for Episode VIII. Trevorrow was an obvious choice, especially now that he's the proud director of the third highest-grossing movie of all time.

Star Wars Land

Iger also announced "Star Wars Land," a 14-acre Star Wars addition to Disneyland. It will be the perfect place for Star Wars fans to vacation, including all of the elements you would expect, like a Cantina, droids, and roving TIE fighters.

Opening quote
"I cannot think of a better way to celebrate the next 60 years of Parks & Resorts than with @StarWars Land," said Iger.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens clocks in at over two hours

After the announcement before the Expo that Star Wars: The Force Awakens wouldn't release any new footage, there wasn't too much news from the upcoming film. But the cast took the stage, including Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, and Harrison Ford, the latter of whom got a huge round of applause. It was also announced that the current cut of the film runs for 125 minutes, just over two hours.

There will be a final trailer in the fall, but for now, we'll have to sate ourselves with this new concept art:
