Watch the First Clip and a New Promo from The Walking Dead Season Six
With Fear the Walking Dead breaking ratings records left and right (was there ever any doubt?), we're getting even more excited for the next season of The Walking Dead. Now, we finally have our first full clip from the premiere, which aired on The Talking Dead last night:

In the clip, Abraham and Sasha are on some kind of mission, which must be dangerous, as Sasha says, "Doing something as big as this, that's living." Abraham is also seeking reassurances that Sasha won't go "buckwild" on the walkers again, which indicates that we're not done with her slightly annoying emotional arc. Depression and anger are all very well and good, but there's definitely such a thing as overdoing it, especially considering that we weren't all that attached to Sasha when she began her downward spiral.

Possible spoilers ahead! (Click to reveal)

Hopefully all will turn out well for Abraham, who may be in a little bit of danger this season. He dies fairly early in the comics, and a suspicious tweet from Michael Cudlitz to Josh McDermitt, who plays Eugene, seemed to imply that he's off the show. But then again, the show often diverges from the comic, if only to keep the fans on their toes, and Kirkman has explicitly stated that he regrets killing off Abraham before he got to face off against Negan, who hasn't been introduced on the show yet.

AMC also released a new promo, which is a little bit of a letdown, as there's no new footage. It's more like a series of motion posters, but at least it's set to a moody, interesting song: "We Carry On" by the Phantoms featuring Amy Stroup.

The only part of the promo that is at all revealing is the dialogue from Rick: "Making it now, do you really think you can do that without getting blood on your hands?" If we had to guess, we'd say he says this line to Morgan, who has returned from his spirit quest with some ninja skills and a pacifist streak, and will potentially become a competitor for leader of the group.

The Walking Dead premieres on October 11 at 9pm on AMC.
