Do the Kessel Run in 12 Parsecs With These Awesome Star Wars X-Wing and Millennium Falcon Drones
If you didn't know already, Star Wars is currently embarking on an epic 18-hour live unboxing event during which, countless new Star Wars: The Force Awakens toy lines will be unveiled. We've already seen the adorable app-controlled mini BB-8, but there's another major toy highlight that is sure to bring out the kid in all of us....Remote-Controlled, flying X-Wing and Millennium Falcon drones!!

Created by Air Hogs, both models are made out of a lightweight but sturdy foam, which means getting your very own X-Wing or Millennium Falcon to take off is a doddle. With four neatly packaged propellers the drones can reach serious speeds, so unless you live in the abandoned Wayne Manor, we don't advise flying them in your own home. Once you get them out for a test spin, the accompanying remote allows you to control your drone from a distance of up to 200ft. During the live unboxing the presenters took the Falcon for a spin and we have to say, it looks remarkably maneuverable.

We didn't manage to record any of the in-air footage, but this gif of a larger, homemade Millennium Falcon quadcopter should give you an idea of how much fun owning this toy will be.

We're not sure what the price of these drones will be, but learning that the X-Wing comes complete with it's own mini R2-D2 has already convinced us that it's worth whatever astronomical price retailers want to charge.

As with all other Star Wars: The Force Awakens toys, you'll be able to pick up these drones starting September 4th.
