Just as BB-8 is pretty much a perfect droid, Sphero BB-8 is already a pretty perfect toy. But now, Sphero has added the one thing that could make it better: making it force-controlled.

Now, aspiring Jedi can use the Force bands unveiled at CES to control their little Sphero BB-8s. The Force bands are wristicles that stay on your arm as a result of magnets in the clasp, and will allow you to use your hand to direct BB-8 in a certain direction, Rey-style. And, on the flip side, you can also take "Force training" from BB-8, following its commands to get through Force Exercises, and eventually achieve Force Awareness. (Or, in other words, you use the band's haptic feedback to find and collect holocrons.)

If they could only make puppy-sized Force bands, this would be the perfect gadget:

The Force Band will be available for a (fairly pricey) $80 starting on September 30. The Special Edition, which also includes a BB-8 toy for those who don't have it yet, will be available for $100.
