New 'Voyage of Time' Clips Are Stunning
Terrence Malick is one of the most unique voices in filmmaking today, so when he decides to make a documentary about outer space, you've got to figure it's worth a look.

The film, Voyage of Time, has been in the works for a whopping 40 years, and it's finally heading to theaters. While much of the movie is shrouded in mystery, it's said to be about the birth and death of the known universe. Two versions of the movie actually exist: a 40 minute IMAX version narrated by Brad Pitt, and a feature length 35mm film version narrated by Cate Blanchette. Two new clips have just been released from the latter, and to say they're a feast for the eyes is a massive understatement.

The IMAX version hits theaters on October 7, while the longer version premieres on September 7 at the Venice Film Festival. No word yet on when the actual universe will end.
