Behold, The Beautiful Cat's Paw Nebula

ArTeMIS is a new instrument installed on the APEX observatory out in the Atacama Desert in central Chile and it is already starting to prove its worth with this stunning new image of the Cat's Paw Nebula.

The Cat's Paw Nebula is a rich star forming region of our very own Milky Way galaxy and I think you'll agree, it's a beauty. Located approximately 5,500 light years from Earth, the Cats Paw Nebula is barely visible to the naked eye, so this high detailed image serves as a testament to the power of the new ArTeMIS camera.
