Watch: Discovery Channel Explains the Science of Interstellar, Narrated by Matthew McConaughey

Still don't know what the hell happened in Interstellar? Watch this Discovery Channel special on the hard science behind Christopher Nolan's latest, narrated by the always welcome Matthew McConaughey.

Although Nolan veered into extremely speculative science fiction (and some outright nonsense) in that off-the-rails third act, astrophysicists (including the notoriously critical Neil deGrasse Tyson) have widely agreed that the first two acts' portrayal of the physics of black holes, wormholes, deep space, and time dilation is one of the most realistic depictions of theoretical physics put on film, likely as a result of Nolan's collaboration with renowned theoretical physicist Kip Thorne.
