NASA Now Uploading Ultra HD Video of Life in Outer Space
For those of you who want to live in space one day, this might just be the next best thing. NASA has just started posting beautifully sharp footage directly from the ISS, and for the first time ever, it's in 4K ultra high-definition.

There have been several other high-definition videos posted by NASA, but they were all time-lapses from many different photographs, like ESA's Christmas lights display seen below. This is the first time NASA has been able to upload footage from the ISS that's nearly in real time, giving us Earthlings some gorgeous insight into what life in outer space is really like for astronauts.

According to NASA's official description of the video, "The view of life in space is getting a major boost with the introduction of 4K Ultra High-Definition (UHD) video, providing an unprecedented look at what it's like to live and work aboard the International Space Station. This important new capability will allow researchers to acquire high resolution - high frame rate video to provide new insight into the vast array of experiments taking place every day. It will also bestow the most breathtaking views of planet Earth and space station activities ever acquired for consumption by those still dreaming of making the trip to outer space."
