The Inside of the New SpaceX Dragon Capsule Looks Like Every Sci-Fi Spacecraft
SpaceX has just revealed the first images and footage of the interior of the new Dragon capsule, designed to shuttle astronauts to and from the International Space Station, and it looks more futuristic than any spacecraft we've ever seen:

The interior of the spacecraft is clean, sleek, and streamlined, with a black-and-white aesthetic that looks like 2001: A Space Odyssey, and more futuristic than the ships in grittier films, like Serenity or the Icarus in Sunshine. Especially compared to NASA's current shuttle, the Russian Soyuz, it looks like an upgrade straight from the future:

The capsule has seats for seven crew members to make their way to the ISS, with video screens in front of the seats that can display information about the Dragon's position in space and the environment inside the spacecraft. The state-of-the-art control panels include an environmental control system that allows astronauts to adjust the temperature. It also has four windows embedded in the walls of the spacecraft so that, much like in a science fiction movie with expensive special effects, the astronauts can easily view the outer space around them.

Here's a video of what the Dragon capsule might look like in orbit:
