'Twin Peaks' Reboot Releases New Teaser
< >
Showtime's new Twin Peaks reboot is shrouded in mystery, and a new teaser for the upcoming season does little to add to shed any light on what we should expect. The teaser features flashes of Michael J. Anderson's Man From Another Place in the Black Lodge, doing his signature dance and generally being creepy. There's no new footage, unfortunately, but the teaser does at least hint at a return for the character. Have a look yourself below.

As you can see, it's pretty cool, but not very informative. We still don't know which original characters are returning for sure other than Kyle Maclachlan's Dale Cooper, what the story is going to be, or even when it's going to premiere. Several new actors have been added to the cast in recent weeks; including Peter Sarsgaard, Amanda Seyfried, Balthazar Getty, and Robert Knepper, but we don't know what a single one of their roles will be.

Even Anderson, who is the focus of this teaser, insisted less than a week ago on his Facebook page that he is unaware of any involvement on his part. We're hoping that Anderson is just doing his best Kit Harington impression and is in the reboot, but has been instructed by his superiors to deny that fact in the face of all evidence. We'll likely have to wait a while to find out, though hopefully not all the way until 2017.
