What to Watch This Week: More Maisie Williams on Doctor Who, Jem and the Holograms, and More

While the fall TV season has technically been underway for a while now, but there's been a rather large Green and Red whole in our viewing schedules so far. That hole will thankfully be filled this week, with the return of CW's The Flash and Arrow looming large over our weekly watch list. As if that wasn't enough, The Walking Dead returns for its 6th season. The time to hunker down and watch TV until your eyes bleed is finally here.

Monday, October 19th

Monday Night Football - 8:15pm on ESPN

Under normal circumstances, we would never encourage you to watch football (three hours for one game? Are you freaking kidding me?). But tonight, there will be a Star Wars trailer during the Giants vs Eagles game (most likely during halftime), so it'll be much more exciting than usual.

Gotham - 8pm on Fox

The 'Rise of the Villains' continues as Galavan and Penguin join forces with a dangerous family in Gotham. Then, as the rivalry between the Waynes and the Galavans resurfaces, Gordon struggles to maintain order in the city.

Minority Report - 9pm on Fox

After Dash and Vega realize that Vega is the victim in Dash's latest vision, they team up with someone who played a key role in the murder of Vega's father many years ago. 

Tuesday, October 20th

The Flash - 8pm on CW

Barry and the team look for another Firestorm match for Dr. Stein. When the team meets Jefferson "Jax" Jackson, Caitlin has her reservations about whether Jax is the right match for Dr. Stein. 

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. - 9pm on ABC

Having reluctantly agreed to share information with Rosalind and the ATCU, Coulson and the team go in search for the Inhuman who is killing off other Inhumans (could it be Lash?).

iZombie - 9pm on CW

Liv eats the brains of a recently murdered trophy wife who was pushed to her death from the balcony of her stunning architectural home in the hills by a hired hit man. A Pinot Grigio-sipping, suddenly fashion obsessed Liv and Detective Babineaux begin questioning suspects in their search for the original brains behind this murder. Meanwhile, Liv and Ravi are surprised to learn that Peyton (guest star Aly Michalka) has returned to Seattle.

Limitless - 10pm on CBS

Brian learns a shocking secret about Rebecca's late father but worries that telling her will land him in legal trouble. Also, Brian accidentally meddles in Rebecca's personal life while learning self-defense from her secret boyfriend, FBI Agent Casey Rooks.

Wednesday, October 21st

Arrow - 8pm on CW

Laurel deals with the repercussions of taking Sara to Nanda Parbat, as she and Thea make an attempt to resurrect her (although we all know it won't happen until Constantine shows up). Directed by Punisher: War Zone's Lexi Alexander.

Thursday, October 22th

Heroes Reborn - 8pm on NBC

Hiro returns and meets up with his old friend Noah Bennet, who continues to search for answers about what happened to his memories- and Claire. 

Supermansion - on Crackle

When Sgt. Agony (Keegan-Michael Key) discovers that Cooch is illiterate, the League of Freedom bands together to help her study for her GED. American Ranger embarks on a road trip in search of the American dream and Jewbot yearns to be an inspirational influence.

Friday, October 23rd

Z Nation - 10pm on Syfy

The team splits up after a boating accident on the Mississippi, and Sketchy and Skeezy are sentenced to death.

Jem and the Holograms

The classic 80's cartoon comes to life as Jerrica Benton, Synergy, and co. embark on a quest to superstardom. 

The Last Witch Hunter

Groot and maybe Black Bolt stars as Kaulder, an immortal witch hunter who attempts to stop covens of New York City from wiping out humanity with a deadly plague. 

Saturday, October 24th

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy - 9:30pm on Disney XD

The Guardians are pushed into infiltrating a notorious gang of weapons dealers.

Doctor Who - 9pm on BBC America

Maisie Williams returns for the conclusion of her two-episode arc as the Doctor comes face-to-face with the deadly highwayman "The Nightmare" and his sidekick.

Sunday, October 25th

The Walking Dead - 9pm on AMC

After this week's breathlessly brutal attack on Alexandria, we find out if that pesky zombie horde ever made it to the gated community. 

The Leftovers - 9pm on HBO

An earthquake hits Jarden as fan favorite villain Patty makes a reappearance "in an unexpected way."

The Last Man on Earth - 9:30pm on Fox

Tandy discovers something that Todd is hiding.
