This Music-Only Star Wars: The Force Awakens Trailer Is Even More Epic, If That's Possible
I haven't heard any complaints about the third Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer that aired on Monday night, but a fan/genius decided to improve on it anyway. This fan-made edit drops all of the dialogue in favor of the rousing score, and the results are unbelievably epic:

There was nothing wrong with the dialogue from the trailer, but for some reason, the dialogue-free version has even more gravitas. The beginning, in particular, builds suspense with the quieter, moodier music, leading up to the sweeping, moving "Force Theme" in the second half.

Unfortunately, the music isn't new material from John Williams, although he's been conscripted to work on the film. Composer Frederick Lloyd worked on the Force Theme, and John Samuel Hanson worked on the first half, which includes a reworking of the original Han and Leia love theme. We'll hear John Williams's score when The Force Awakens comes out on December 18.
