Anthony Mackie Hilariously Shuts Down Any and All Praise of DC's Man of Steel
Marvel and DC are at it again, as Avengers star Anthony Mackie just expressed his undying hatred of Man of Steel. In a recent interview with Collider, he called his interviewer "bananas" for liking Man of Steel, and it only gets funnier from there:

It's amusing just to see how shocked Mackie is that anyone would genuinely love Man of Steel, and it's even more amusing when he starts ribbing Steve Weintraub for being a movie critic with terrible taste in movies. But the funniest part comes when Weintraub defends the film on the grounds of its score and "amazing" opening 20 minutes, and Mackie responds, "But there's another THREE HOURS of movie after that!" Ha. He's got you there, Steve.

To be fair to Mackie, this really isn't a Marvel vs DC thing (although it definitely starts off that way, and it was funny that Mackie thought Steve's "M-" was leading to "Marvel" rather than Man of Steel). I'm a much bigger DC fan than a Marvel fan, and I hated Man of Steel. In fact, I think people who are generally big DC fans are even more likely to hate Man of Steel, because it didn't do the characters or the universe justice. If Mackie had had the same reaction to Steve citing The Dark Knight as the last good DC movie he'd seen, then we could definitely call him partisan.
